Baritone Saxophone, Adolphe Sax, 1845-46, serial number 4634. The
earliest surviving saxophone by its inventor, Adolphe Sax. This instrument is
experimental in several aspects of construction.

12-key transition-system oboe by Triébert, Paris, ca. 1845. It includes one ring and "spectacle" key for the left hand and two rings for the right hand.
